MANUAL THERAPY
Manual therapy is used for patients with soft tissue conditions, tight muscles, spasms and pain. Some of the techniques used are soft tissue mobilization, myfascial release, massage and streches. These techniques assist in promoting healthy tissue. Results from manual therapy are pain reduction, increased mobility in body movement and with walking.
CORE TRAINING
Core Training is used to restore strength in function in spinal condition. The entire spine can benefit from Core Training from the neck to low back. The focus of Core Training is on the abdominal muscles and the spinal muscles of which there are many. The use of arms and leg movements encourages the spinal muscles to contract which strenghtens the Core. The benefits of Core Training are reduced pain, increase strenght, mobility, improved posture, body mechanics and balance.
